Perfection in Yacht and Boat Care!
Is your boat moored in the Netherlands but home is Germany, Belgium or the UK? We handle the full care of your yacht on site at your marina, so you do not need to fly in for a weekend of scrubbing. We bring our own water, power and materials, and we work with owners across the country from a base in Maastricht. You get a fixed quote within 24 hours and before-and-after photos when the job is done.
About us
Welcome to Glenn's Yacht Cleaning
We take the full maintenance of your boat off your hands. That means: washing the hull down to 10 cm below the waterline, polishing in three steps when the gelcoat has gone dull, hull treatment with fresh antifouling, teak deck cleaning without opening the grain, interior work with pH-neutral products, sail and cover cleaning with our own formula, and sail repairs through our in-house sailmaker. One address, one phone number, one fixed quote for the lot.
The price we agree on is the price you pay, no hourly surprises. Owners along the Dutch rivers and coastal marinas usually come back for a second and third season, and honestly that is the best measure of whether we do the job right.

What we do for your boat
For proper yacht maintenance and a real boat cleaning service in the Netherlands, you are in the right place. We handle the full picture: hull cleaning and antifouling, boat polishing, teak deck cleaning, interior and upholstery work, and sail cleaning through our own workshop. Everything on site at your marina, or at our yard in Maastricht when the job needs dry indoor space.
We have been doing this long enough to know what each type of boat needs and which products actually work. A polished hull that holds its shine through a full season, a teak deck that comes back to its honey colour without grain damage, antifouling that lasts the winter. Fair pricing, fixed quotes, and a boat that looks right when you step aboard.

Customer satisfaction
At Glenn's Yacht Cleaning, customer satisfaction is our top priority!
Environmentally and boat friendly
We do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Safe and environmentally friendly cleaning is a priority.

Sails, covers and upholstery
Whatever is made of fabric on your boat, we clean, repair or replace it. Our in-house sail loft handles sail cleaning, repairs to covers and biminis, and full custom builds when a sail is past saving. For interior work, upholstery, headliners, cushions, carpets, we use pH-neutral cleaners that are safe on leather, microfibre and delicate weaves.
Much of this work we pick up and drop off, so the boat itself does not need to come off the water. If you are based in Utrecht, Rotterdam, Amsterdam or further afield, we collect the sails or cushions, do the work at our Maastricht workshop, and bring them back when you are next at the marina.

Our method

Why is it important?
Your boat, our mission!
Most of the owners we work with are perfectly capable of cleaning their own boat. They just do not want to spend a weekend doing it. An afternoon of scrubbing in April and another in October adds up to real hours, and the polishing or teak work that actually extends the life of the boat tends to get postponed year after year.
That is where we come in. We do it properly, we do it consistently, and we do it on a schedule that works around your season. You use the boat, we keep it in the condition you bought it in. Most of our clients sign up once and stay with us for years, quiet work that keeps a boat worth its money when the time comes to sell.

Keep your boat running longer
A boat that spends its life outdoors takes a beating from rain, UV and the slow build-up of algae below the waterline. Two to three cleanings per season and a full polish every couple of years hold that back. Skip them, and within three or four years the gelcoat turns chalky and the hull needs far more work to bring back, if it can be brought back at all.
The trade-off is simple. A few hundred euros a season in maintenance against a few thousand in repairs and depreciation down the line. Boats that get looked after hold their value at resale, and owners who use a professional service tend to sleep better when the weather turns. We are happy to set up a schedule that fits how often you are actually on the water.
Extend the life of your boat
Thorough cleaning and gelcoat care
For a boat that actually looks cared for at the start of each season, we combine a proper wash with polishing using RIWAX products in a three-step process that removes oxidation, clears holograms and seals the gelcoat for eight to fourteen months. Hull work below the waterline, algae removal, sanding, fresh antifouling, runs on the same schedule so your boat leaves the yard ready for the whole season, not just the first sail.
Interior and teak deck
Inside the boat matters as much as the hull. Interior cleaning covers upholstery, headliners, galley and heads, using pH-neutral products that do not damage leather or delicate fabrics. For the teak deck we always work with the grain, never against it, and use a two-part cleaner that removes the grey oxidation layer without opening the wood fibres. That is the step most DIY kits skip, and it is why teak decks often look worse after a season of self-cleaning than before.
Sails and sail loft
Sail and cover cleaning happens in our own workshop with a formula we developed over years of working with heavily soiled sails. Even a main that has spent a winter in a damp locker comes back close to new. Alongside cleaning we run a full sail loft for repairs, panel replacement and custom builds. Turnaround is usually within a week during the season.
Extras and long-distance clients
For owners who want everything handled on site at their marina, washing, hull work, polishing, we combine multiple jobs per trip and travel anywhere in the Netherlands from our Maastricht base. German, Belgian and UK-based owners ask most often about boats kept in Dutch waters they do not visit weekly; those are exactly the contracts we built this service for. One quote, one visit, a maintained boat when you next step aboard.
